We gather together here at the West Erwin Church of Christ on Sunday morning and evening, and on Wednesday evening, to encourage each other as we worship our God and study His Word. Our Sunday morning assemblies include many online worshipers.
Central to our assembly is the weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper or “Communion.” During this memorial we share in the partaking of unleavened bread and “fruit of the vine” (grape juice). In so doing we remember the sacrifice of Jesus’ body and the shedding of His blood on the cross for our sins, as well as the call to follow Him in sacrifice and service ourselves.
During the worship service we will be led in prayer by men of the congregation. What a blessing it is to be able to communicate as a community of believers with the God who sees us and hears us!
Please feel free to sing along with us as we offer praise to God through our songs. Our congregational singing is without the accompaniment of musical instruments and results in a beautiful blending of voices offering praise to God and encouragement to one another.
As members of the West Erwin church family we give at our Sunday assemblies and by online giving to financially support God’s work here and throughout the world. Please understand that as a guest we do not expect you to give unless you feel compelled to do so.
During worship our preaching minister will share the message of the Gospel. We pray that you find this time of Bible study to be informative in your knowledge of God’s Word and encouraging in your life of faith.
